Pheasant numbers?

Less than a month away any news on how the winter and spring hail storms were on the pheasant numbers in Northeast Colorado. Gas Prices have limited my scouting efforts and wondered if anyone has seen birds on the roads.

Running my dog Lady and she is getting anxious!

I was out by Plateville the other day and saw a couple roosters on the road but other than that I haven't headed out I-76 since last season. I'll probably just head out there on the opener and hope everything is good! Colorado has some of the heartiest birds I've ever seen and I'm sure we'll have about the same numbers as last year. Not bad, not good.

New to the forum here.

I haven't been out east this year, but heard numbers were good. I know some people out by Holyoke and they said numbers were looking good. I'm expecting numbers similar to what we saw last year, maybe a little better.
