I've tried them all, Igloo, Dogloo, Barrels; and, have even built hay bale houses. I have a hound heater but it scares them and they will not go in the dog house with it. On a whim, I purchased a Dog Palace at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. Took it to the car wash and then sanitized it. The dogs love it...it's outstanding. I have a ballistic bed in it and my two GSP's fit in it comfortably and come out of it warm and toasty even in sub-freezing temperatures. Yes they sleep in at night, but now I finally have peace of mind that they will remain warm when outside while I'm at work. No connection to the company but here you go: http://www.asldoghouses.com/
