Ive noticed this. The only fields in the area that didnt have corn was the ones with pheasants but farmers wouldnt let me hunt.
Where do you live ? What about public land ?

I managed to sneak out this morning with a friend and my dog and do a little hunting. We got to our public spot we wanted to hunt at 8:15am. There were lots of trucks and people so we headed for the middle part of the grass.
Everyone else was hunting the edges where we wanted to be. We saw lots of birds being pushed around and heard lots of shots. One time someone shot by us and we could hear bbs falling around us.
We managed to get up three hens and one rooster that we took home. It was kind of scarry with five foot plus tall grass all around us, you couldn't tell if people were coming at you or not. We decided to hightail it out of there at 9:45. I will let things calm down a while before we go back out, it got pretty warm out today also.
