Opening Day Injury

Had a little injury today to my young boy Jax. He sustained about a 3/4 inch cut nearly to the bone. Fortunately, one of our hunting party is a surgeon from Dallas. A little clean-up and three staples later, he's good to go. But......doctors orders says no hunting for one week!

Bummer! Glad to here the pup is ok though. One week isn't bad but it's one too many during the short time we have in the field with our pups.
