Opening CRP in MN

Hi SDak neighbors

Click on the link from todays MPLs paper, the story covers Gov Daytons request to Vilsack to open CRP lands in MN to haying and grazing.

Now I don't know a lot about the damage down to hay grounds and pasture, but I will say if the weather has damaged forage grounds and forage crops, would it not have damaged the CRP forage as well???

Maybe I'll ask the governor to open up all the gardens and hot house growers as my tomatoes and peppers are looking anemic!!! so I'd like to be able to get theirs.

Over 5" of rain between yesterday mornings storm and last nights storm-Pequot Lakes MN

Horrible conditions for those broods of upland chicks.

Hay crops and pasture land has the best growth there's been for years.
Bumper crops for sure all through this country.
