Think I'll head SW and hit some new areas on Saturday. May be able to get out one more time after that before the early season closes. Sure is fun. Even though they are far and few between, when you get one pointed it's magic!
I wasn't going to say anything about meadowlarks being pointed. But, Bob and Obie had some dang nice ones pointed! First few kind of got the heart racing and after that I never loaded my gun. LOL!!!
Taz is nice enough to let me know it's a meadowlark by wagging his tail on point. After many miles and no chickens, the larks seem to turn into a game.
Can't decide if I wanna head west and make an overnighter or do a one day closer to home. The devil on my shoulder says 2 day but the angel on the other says one day and stay home Sunday and finish up things here to get ready for winter weather.
