I am ready, but I did not plan very well! My elk tag, that I got on leftover draw is on opening !!!! What a idiot!!! Maybe when I get back Wed. I will just head east with the Pack!!!! I am down to my last 2lbs. of elk meat, so the first girl or boy ( with a 5 inch brow) is going down!! Trophy time next year!!!!! So looking forward to bird season with the dogs, it is going to be fun!!!!:cheers:

Been penned up in office long enough + buried in international missions travel lately - in bad need of an outdoor fix, I'm locked-n-loaded and counting the days!!!

Enjoyed ur posts. hard for me this evening seeing roosters out feeding after the snow them not knowing whats coming. Could of got several limits tonight on the way home if I could shoot straight. Good luck to everyone in the opener and weeks beyond. Should be plenty for everyone.

Hey Big Guy,
Staying in Colorado this yr. ( wonder why) anyway, will be in the same spot as I did a few yrs. back. If you have a few hours to get away call me. I'm open.
I can care less about killing, just after good dog work. Yep. hand in hand beers are good thing. I'll be running a few foot dogs and a couple of trial dogs, I need to be careful with ....... You know the story.
Hope all is well with the Family.

Hey Kevin,
It's too bad your litter last spring had no yellow boys. I ended up getting one of those two pups that Larry Kimble brought with him to your pointing lab trial at Teal Lodge on Ap. 30. "Little" Parker is now 78 lbs and yes, he points. I'm behind the curve on training so it will be awhile before I can try him for certified pointer trial. I've got to put out some more birds next week to see how badly the wild birds of S. Dakota set back his training.

Best luck to all this weekend. Remember to bring plenty of water with you in the field for your pups.
Tom
