Dry Firing a Good Thing Before Storing?

Britchaser, I hate to break your bubble. But there a lot of other parts that make a gun go bang, besides the barrels. The firing pins are usually the first to go.........Bob

Thanks for the info. What do you think about dry firing before storing overnight or for the off season so the gun is not cocked?
