NSTRA Trials in AZ and CA

Anyone on the site run any NSTRA trials in Arizona or Southern California? I'll be spending Jan & Feb in the Phoenix area and would like to get Elle entered in a couple trials while down there. AZ only has one scheduled and that is Feb 22-23. There is one in the So. CA region on Jan 18-19 in California City, CA. But that's a 400 miles drive from Phoenix. Just looking for some basic info on the trials and grounds in those regions. Thanks.
 
If you decide to do the one in Ca city let me know George. Its quite a drive for me but I'd love to come say hi and watch that Elle dog run. Ca city is just down Tehachapi pass, kind of a mix of scrub and grassland but far enough west to be out of the cactus.

It might just be the reason I'm looking for to head south for some gambles quail action.:cheers:

I used to run a bunch of NSTRA trials in the NorCal/Nevada region before my daughter was born, but never ventured to SoCal. I do know a couple of people from the Arizona region, though.

There's a Brittany breeder named Arlette Hennessey who's very active in that region. Here's a link to her website, which has contact info:

My entry is in for the trial by California City on Jan 18-19. Unless something unforeseen happens I should be there. I won't know until sometime after Jan 5th what time my braces are each day. I'll keep you posted.
