Now I am Really tired, Really Sore... And Really happy!

Ouch! I've had months I didn't see that many this season. Sweet way to close the book on 2014-2015. Hope we can do that daily next season!

We worked hard for these birds today. We were dealing with very smart birds all day. Which made it fun and frustrating. I think we saw about every rooster trick today.

The strangest thing of the day was stumbling on a cock fight. We were driving around are next spot to hunt to figure out what was the best way to hunt it. We drove over a little bridge and heard some serious cackling even with the windows up on the truck. We jumped out and there were five roosters in there going at it. Anybody else ever witness something like that?

Nice work, looks like a great day. We saw two roosters throwing down in a road ditch while we were in SD.

When I was into archery hunting in HS and time seemed to be an endless commodity, witnessed it one morning while on stand. Enjoyed the site and cherish the memory.

Way to finish the season off jake. I've only seen them fighting in the spring.

About two weeks ago I saw a rooster on the gravel road in front of me where I have permission to hunt both sides of the road. When I got there I found nine (yes 9) roosters having a ball. One rooster was way up in a cottonwood tree dangling on a branch about 35 feet off the ground. I pulled out me Browning and loaded up five shells just to see what would happen. NOTHING HAPPENED. Then I slammed the truck door and all heck broke loose. Never took a shot since I already had four nice roosters in the back. I just wanted to see if I could actually get the fun out and loaded. Now, that was one of my best memories this year.
