Not ready to be done

I went out today for a grouse walk but the snow was way too deep. I guess I have to hang it up for the year. This year was a bit of a let down for me. I didn't get out nearly as much as I hoped to.

It would be nice to make another trip south to Kansas and extend the season, but I don't think its in the cards since we have a baby on the way.

How was your Minnesota season?

Congrats on the little one.:thumbsup: Time to shop for youth hunting gear.
I can't complain. I had a quiet but fruitful year. Hunted alone all but 2 days. Had a day with two dogs that each had one of those birds to remember for life. Having 3 dogs that get it done worked. I always have had times in the past when the dog was down and ruined the year. This year one fell again, so I am grateful now to have a fleet of trucks so to speak.
