Wrestling family I assume! We feel your pain; any experienced hunter has had more than one day like yours...like my son says, some days you're the hammer, some days the nail. Best to forget all about it and anticipate your next outing.
Thanks , yours tooI bet anything that’s where he went , had the same thing happen several years ago in a weedy wheat feild , my friends wire hair started digging and barking , my French Brittany went in and came out with tail feathers , I sent my smallest britt in and she came out with a very lively rooster .
Hope your the last week of season goes well
Ive always said Chessie’s are sweet, but I wasn’t referring to their meat!I slept on the floor of the schoolhouse with visions of rooster tracks in the morning. It just started snowing here. I have 3 eggs a pound of bacon and a pheasant. If this weather gets much worse I may end up having to eat my dog.
Has it occurred to you that if you don't share that bacon, your dog might wind up eating YOU? As well he should.I slept on the floor of the schoolhouse with visions of rooster tracks in the morning. It just started snowing here. I have 3 eggs a pound of bacon and a pheasant. If this weather gets much worse I may end up having to eat my dog.
I think that was a wise choice on your part. Bacon equals love in any language - but especially, in "dog".Me! I’m pretty sure she’s the one who lost the bird! Oh and she did get some bacon,,,and an egg
No it ended up basically being a half an inch of ice. They didn’t move at all. I think I only saw 3 sets of tracks. She put up 5 hens this morning and called it a day at 1 and drove home.So did reality live up to your dreams?
