Non-Toxic Bismuth (not Steel) for Quail

Wonder if anyone has found a supplier for Bismuth ammo in shot size 7 or 8? 12 Gauge but would like 16 gauge.

Yep, that is all I can find as well, only size 7 though.

Salt creek ammo will do bismuth. 7s would be the ideal size, similar to shooting #8/#8.5 lead.

I was looking at having a few bismuth around for non tox quail wilth an occasional pheasant. After watching this video I decided on number 6s, skip to around the 18-20 minute mark.

I shoot Boss 1.125 ounce #6 on quail without issues.

Because I could find it at the time, I use #6 bismuth (28ga) on both pheasants and quail. Works well for me.
