If i got a lisence this year will my chances be the same at drawing a lisence next year or will I have less of a chance since i drew one this year?

I got one the last 2 years so I would say pretty good. But if you don't put in that would be one more license I might have a chance at. On second thought you shouldn't put in odds are really bad.

Less. Since it is limited license and a draw there will always be preference since it is not 100% draw.

Draw success without preference this year was 60-65%. With that said I hunt with guys that have got license 8 years in a row, another 6 and another 4 years in row. It's luck of draw but SD is doing it right unlike ND when it comes to NR waterfowl license.
