[Durangoan]

Former Marine, I've been in Durango 12 years. Used to hunt pheasant and partridge (aka Ruffed Grouse) in NH and MA. Now have two new springer pups ( 1-yr old) and would like to get them started on birds. Looking for recommendations on bird hunting locations in SW CO, and any leads on bird dog trainers in the area. Pups have no field training yet, but it's own my agenda. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Welcome Durangoan and thank you for your service to our country Army vet myself. Sorry I can't help with and dog trainers or bird hunting spots in SW Colorado but I'm sure someone on this site can.
