Newbie in Sioux Falls looking for partners

Yah. This one has been a wild SOB. He seems to have the anxiety issues about being left behind. Around my back door and the window next to it, will need some work, once this dog is done. When I picked him up, there was also a little female in the room, she was a terror, fighting stuffed toys and into everything....not sure how she turned-out, but it made me laugh and happy she wasn't mine! I took that little docile guy into our home and he took control from the first minutes he was there. He never winded, never seemed to miss his old place or other dogs. He was even trying to bully us in the first hours. Knew right away he was going to be a handful. I am SURE the GSPs aren't usually like this one!
While I have no doubt a GSP can be crazy… They are not the only ones. I had male field labs for years. They can be a little high strung but will also settle in the house some. When it came time to get a new dog my wife’s only ask is that we try a female. I was like okay I can do that. I had wanted to switch back to a pointer to chase some quail locally. I started thinking about some type of wire hair but was concerned about killing chickens and maybe one of her cats. I have always been interested in pudelpointers and read a lot about how docile they can be while not hunting… let’s just say that this has not been the case and she still thinks I hoodwinked her.😅
