New to PA, looking for a hunt around Phoenixville

I recently moved to PA from Illinois and I am not familiar with the area. I am looking for any advice on good public land in the Phoenixville area. Would also like to meet up with anybody in my area that is going out and wouldn't mind a tag along. Thanks.
 
Sure some of the PA guys will be along to throw out some ideas but in the mean time I would spend some time on the PA DNR website. Has a lot of info on it. I am from OH so help with where Phoenixville is please.

Well there are some areas in Chester County that recieve some birds, such as SGL 43, but to be honest for a quality hunt you're going to want to drive a little. The closest SGL to you that offers that might be SGL 205 in Lehigh County. It's managed for small game and recieves a good amount of birds. If you are willing to spend a little more time on the road there are plenty of areas that offer good hunting.
