Hi to all. I'm from Northeast Indiana and new to this forum, hope to have lots of fun here. I do like pheasant hunting as well as the other birds. I have gsp I plan on getting trained for future use. Also have lots of questions for everybody which I'll ask as time allows.

Welcome aboard sir. If you have questions, you've come to the right place - there is tons of information on here related to almost everything upland hunting. If you think your question may have been asked before, use the search tool (the answer may already be provided in depth for you). :) Regardless, there are always people on here willing to help, which makes this an excellent site for hunters of all ages and experience.

Welcome to UPH, I hope you and your GSP have a good season. Also good luck with the training........Bob

Welcome and "Howdy" from Texas! Enjoy the site. Best of luck with your GSP; my favorite brand of bird dog...!

Welcome! How are the birds in IN?

Welcome to the site:) I'll second mmhuntings question with how the bird #'s are doing in NE Indiana.

I lived in west of you in Valparaiso for some time while attending VU. I saw a few nice roosters out that way. Hope that's still the case for you Indiana guys;) 1pheas4

Hi everybody. Appreciate the big welcome. To answer mm's question on phez, not to good close to where I live because of coyotes. That I have been working on. About 45 minutes north of where I live is some good to above average hunting on phez. It is on some DNR ground that they let hunters use for hunting and training gun dogs. All you have to do is sign in when you show up sign out when you leave and show what you got during your hunt. That how it was last time I went. If you want to know more just punch in INDNR that will give allthe prices and public hunting grounds and seasons and other info you would like to have.......Phil
