Off to a good start: posted my intro in the wrong location. Duh. Sorry for the false point...

I'm new to the forum, grew up chasing chukar, pheasants, and quail in eastern Washington. I'm still chasing them, just slower now. I don't fool with the chukars anymore, either; too slow and knees are shot.

Looking forward to sharing stories and enjoying the fellowship of pheasant hunters.

Welcome to UPH and glad to have you aboard. We have a very active member on this site from your area "bobyeyerite". I'm sure Bob will be welcoming you as soon as he sees your post. Bob is one of our more "senior" members but still quite active in chasing chukars and pheasants. You two should hit it off well.

Welcome to UPH, George was a tad wrong. With the decline in the Chukers populations, I have given up on them. I now go mostly for just Quail and Pheasant. I love to hunt Huns also, but have not seen any of them in a few years. I know you live in the east as I do, are you close to where I live?. Very nice to have you here..........Bob

Welcome, I to love the siren call of those devil birds. My springers aren't the best chukar dogs, but we put a few in the air every year.:D
