New Tires: Falken Rubitrek?

We all have interests. I also drive 15 hrs one way on trips. I just illustrated I make my living with my truck. In extreme bean and corn stubble, across old fence rows on the regular pulling heavy loads. Tires matter…just not that much.
 
Maybe a tangent, but I just put on K03's. Put 70k miles on my KO2's, loved them even though they weren't great on wet/snow towards the end.

The KO3's will not balance. Rebalanced twice in 30 days. Over 60mph there's noticeable shake. Over 70mph your teeth rattle.

After googling, it's a known issue (with the 2's and 3's).

Might warranty them, BFG gives you 60 days.
 
Falken Wildpeak AT4w went to a harder rubber so they last longer, so they are not as good in the snow as the AT3w. If you dont need mud traction I highly recommend the Continental TerrianContact HT. They are excellent on any condition on the road.

I read that Falken redesigned it to be a heavier tire for fleet use. I really liked the AT3W. I put Continental's on my daughter's Jeep Wrangler.
 
I'm getting ready to replace my Falken Wildpeaks. They are at 5/32 but the noise on the highway is unbearable. I still get great gas mileage but hate the noise. They weren't loud until I got down to about 7/32. Anyway I am going with the Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail® AT. If you do the research they are about the best rated tire to get. And mine are going to be free from Sams Club. I have over a $1000 in club points/cash to cover the total cost.

You will like those.....I have them on my RAM 1500. They are good in snow, ice, mud, rain, gravel and highway.
They do have some noise to them, well at least compared to a stock road tire that came on the truck originally, but nothing that is unbearable.

Good choice I’m on 2nd set, never had a flat!
