New pup.....finally pulled the "trigger"

Evening gents....

Well the trip to God's country was a bust and I Apologize to all who expressed interest to make the trip....weather, low bird numbers and severe habitat loss all played factors.

On a good note: Wife and I welcomed a new setter pup...."Trigger" into the fold yesterday. He is a 12 week old pup from Earlywine Llewellins in Paris, KY. Just up the road from home. He is orange and white and comes from good stock...

Lot's of Bondhu with tonic, highland and straight creek in the mix.
This is my first pup in over 6 years, my other setters are 7 and 12.

Be safe, shoot straight and leave some for next year:)
Merry Christmas to all.

A classic companion . . . enjoy!

I would say you made a good move. Go home early and get a Llewellin pup

However, you have made a critical error, where are the :coolpics: of the pup :D

We have had very little success getting roosters pointed. Hens, on the other hand we are getting pointed a lot.

These threads are useless without pics! I like to see pup pics...Please! It is said that at 11 weeks of age is the only time a pup is kind of a miniature represnetation of that which he will become. Twelve weeks can't be far off the mark , me thinks.
