Hi,
I am new to the forum, I have been hunting the Aberdeen Area for several years and wondering if it is drying out at all and did the Spring hatch go well.

Welcome to the site. I live in Aberdeen and "no", it has not dried out. If you were out here last fall and thought it was wet I'm here to tell you it's wetter now. Unless we get some extremely dry weather in the next 2-3 months I'm not sure what to expect this fall.

I'm sure all the wet weather has had to have an effect on the hatch. We will probably know more when the GFP does their road surveys in August. The pheasants haven't caught much of a break the last couple year with back to back bad winters and all the moisture.

Welcome! You live in an outdoorsman's paradise. Hemingway wrote all about it. More recently I have heard the word "youpper," (sp.) pronounced "YOUper" as a nom de terre for Michiganers who reside in the Upper Peninsula. I hope it is not impolite to say Youpper. If it is, I apologize. Again, welcome!
