Just found this site today. I live in NC Iowa and hunt here and in SC Minnesota with my 3 yo Brittany Milo. Been chasing roosters for 25+ years and look forward to talking bird hunting with you folks.

Welcome to UPH, another Brittany Man, I really love to see another Brittany hunter join here. Yes, by all means drop often and discuss hunting with us. We all love doing that.......Bob

Pretty much where I grew up. I am from around the BE area and relly's in Rake IA where the farm still is.

Welcome Marty. Good group of guys here. I am grateful to get to make a trek out your direction each year to chase birds. How does the hatch look from what you have seen so far in your area?

I'm from Buffalo Center, so we've covered the same country. Although I haven't seen a lot of young un's, we had pretty decent weather during the nesting season, so I'm optimistic. Of course I was last year too and the fall was a little rough. The good thing about NC Iowa is that the loss of CRP didn't effect us 'cause we didn't have any to start with :p

welcome marty. glad to have another member from nc iowa. your right about crp in the area. it it weren't for union slough there wouldn't be any birds left in the area.

Hi Marty. Thanks for joining. I'm originally from Mankato and live in the Metro area. Good group of guys on the forum.

Not to far from me Marty. I farm south of lakota maybe we can go chicken chasing together sometime:) Welcome :)

That'd be great. I think that is the real value of these bird hunting forums. Really, there aren't that many of us left. I hunt some of the WPA's over that way quite often.

Nice to see some more Iowegians on the forum. Don't let Captaincoot wear off on you too badmuch.
