New guy to the forum from West Central MN. Been Pheasant Hunting for most of my life around the area so not new to the sport by any means. Last year I decided to retire my lab Jake. We ended the year with a bang with him being a part of right around 100 birds (farm birds included in there). We have a German Wirehair pup coming in the spring. It will be my first pointer. I will be joining our local NAVHDA chapter to gain some training knowledge and make sure this new dog can reach his full potential.

This season will be a slow season for me with a gap in dogs so if anyone is wanting to meet up for a hunt I have the spots if you have a dog!

Welcome to UPH. I'm originally from Canby, MN and still do a little hunting around there but currently live in Watertown, SD. Where are you from in West Central MN?

Maybe we can plan a day this fall to meet around Canby. I have a friend from the Fergus area that lives on Ottertail Lake. My father worked for Ottertail Power Company.
