Looks like with all the CRP expiring this fall and that ground being returned to production, we will fall below the cap in the current farm bill.
This means an opportunity for those that want to re-offer and new-offer ground to go into 10-15 year contracts during the 4-week window beginning March 12th.
We will have more indepth knowledge of the opportunities after attending Pheasant Fest at end of this month. I would suspect Vilsack to be present for a show opening announcement.

I suspect if they don't hit the cap thru the general signup we may see an issue of some more CP-38, 37 acres in key states.
