New 28ga

After my snafu with the Walmart 28ga, I went and got a new SxS to play with. I ended up with the CZ Teal from BPS. It feels great, handles well, and has double triggers! The wood is nothing to write home about, but it looks pretty good. The black chrome metal finish is fairly nice as well. I like the durability factor of it as a working gun. I am hoping to try it at the pheasant preserve in a week or two.

Oh, and it is Whisky's 5th birthday today!

Bobwhite is English stock, the Teal is a great o/u. I got a 12ga for my son a few years back.

No worries... It took me a bit to understand what CZ was doing with the line. It is a sweet handling little shotgun.
 
Do you know wo makes that gun? Does CZ manufacture it or do they have someone else make it and sell as a CZ? I thought for some reason the shotguns they sell are Turkish.

I've got a CZ varmint rifle that I love.

CZ shotguns are primarily made in Turkey.

It is made by Huglu and uses chokes for Huglu. The fit and finish is pretty good.

Well LC you shamed me into a purchase, plus I like your name as I have a nice 16 GA LC, just can't afford the sub gauges. Don't judge just let me believe my rationale...🤥.

I hear you on trying to $$$ for an LC sub. I currently have a late model 16ga Field and a 12ga 1905 00 Grade that is in spectacular condition. I got a letter on that one a few years ago. In the picture, the 16 is on the left and the 12 is on the right. The middle shotgun is my Thomas W. Perkes built in London sometime between 1874 and 1885. I would love to get my hands on a early 1900's Grade 3. I just love their engraving on the 3's.

Love the wood on the 2 on the right. Here is my 16, 1943 was it's birth date

You have a good one. The colors are really nice and the screws are in alignment. Is it choked F/F or F/M?

It's F/M, thanks I'm happy with her.
 
Just picked up my new pea shooter, cz teal sxs 28ga. Fit and finish are good, this is the second one they shipped as the first had a scratch thru the finish on the firearm so I had them return it and send another one. Excited to take her out and run sum lead thru her.
