Neutering 3 year old GSP

I am sure this question has been asked a lot but would getting my shorthair neutered help in stopping him marking?

I rarely catch him marking but when I am not around he will mark inside the house. I have read many articles and forums on this topic and I haven't gotten to much evidence saying it will help or no it won't.

It can't hurt and at three years old is probably a good time. I neuter mine at three to prevent any type of testicular cancer or damage during the hunt. Mine do not mark inside the house. Good luck!
 
If he's been doing this for 3 years, neutering alone likely won't fix this. I say likely as It's become a learned behavior. I have two neutered Shorthairs that have never marked in the house but will outside.
