Got a call from my son last night. He wants to hunt with me near State College (where he is a Jr at Penn State). Now my problem is where to hunt? If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'll be heading up early Saturday. Thanks for whatever info you can pass on.
 
State game lands 60 and 333 are both getting stocked with pheasants. So is PSU Toftrees. You can find maps of the SGL on the PGC website. I hope this helps. I know there are some public lands in the area (state forest) that hold grouse but I don't have any other info for you. Good Luck!
 
PSU Toftrees, any idea where this is located? Can't seem to find directions or a map on the PA Game Commission site.
