View from their front porch. In a 'non' pheasant area of the state, where we've shot a few in the last 10 years or so.

 
Nice picture cheesy. That is a beautiful picturesque scene. I remember the last beautiful picture your sister took of pheasants flying across a snowy country road.

I personally hope that wild pheasants will, one day in the future, expand their wild range east and southward into all of Kansas, all of Oklahoma and most of north Texas.
 
Looks like a good place for a puppy to learn about the beautiful fragrances that the wind can hold! Buurrrdds in there.

That older picture you referenced was taken in the upper left of this picture, where the wheat stops and the native grass starts.

She said she needed some hens for the boys. I agreed, but told her she also needed a longer lens :)
