My father

I have worked hand and hand with my father for quail and pheasant hunting. But every time I mention waterfowl hunting he has nothing to do with me. I like to do both but he won't. O boy what do I do?

Change your blog name! My experience, waterfowling is muddy, boring, takes place at a wicked early hour! Will Rogers said: " I didn't realize how smart my dad was when I was a young man.......till I got older". Maybe good advice, or young people split from the root and go on and do different things, I am sure he would be happy down the road with a waterfowler, ( but he won't eat the birds), than say if you wanted to be a dancer!

Just be thankful that he'll hunt with you at all. I had to pursue the interest myself and make my own way. Perhaps thats why nowadays, just me an the dog is (was :() the perfect size hunting party for me.
