My Christmas present...

My boy Taz has had a rough year and has now joined my dad as official 'blocker'; so, my boys gave me this guy for Christmas. No name yet but strong nat'l champ pedigree. I welcome ideas on a name...will get pedigree soon.
 
Other son says Koinu. Japanese for Puppy. When they were young they named one of our puppies Tigger. He worked out great, so maybe he's right this time too.

Great looking pup. Looks like a tough little guy. I would go with "Walker" or "T.R." (Texas Ranger)
 
Thanks guys...getting heat from the family to call him Jax. May go this route as I do like one syllable names. As I have have spent so much time with rescued GSP's, I had forgotten what it was like to raise a puppy. Geez...the gift that keeps on giving...:p

whatever you name him, i am sure you will have fun with your new "student"........
 
Looking at Jax's eyes, I'd say "there is somebody home in there."

I have no idea if that is a a truth, but when I've picked a dog and seen that intelligence or intensity in the eyes, I've never been disappointed.

(I've also had to contend with a creature that is usually into one thing or another out of pure curiosity. :) )

Gonna be a good year for you.
