1. Everybody gets a bigger buck than me. I took the pic ,my deer is on the left.
2. Geese in the morning , Huns and Grouse later.

3. Another trip after a couple of days.

There were a couple of oddball deer that year. The buck in velvet was a steer, no jewels. I have seen three additional bucks in velvet same area year before last, one shot. Also a steer. What's going on there?
One of the other deer had a goofy horn on the right and had thick bases, more like a whitetail. It was not a cross.
 
Wow, pretty awesome animals. I would love to be along on any of those hunts! seriously call me next time.
