May not be Kansas...

Got my first report of a nesting hen pheasant for the year. Hopefully there are more.

Neat!

I've been trying to get pictures of nests and broods of wild pheasants in NJ. I've seen plenty, but every time I have the camera you know how it goes.

In Bradford County some real good things are happening this spring! ;)

It's a good time to be a bird hunter in Pennsylvania..reports and sightings of birds weren't nearly as common as they are now. Hopefully the progress will continue as long as the PGC keeps it together!

I was doing some work in the area and I got my first report of pheasant chicks. I also saw a turkey with a bunch of little ones.

Just got back from Pheasant Camp...VERY,VERY good news! :10sign:

I was doing some prep work to get some planting done and my two boys were along. They were in the woods playing in the mud and water (they were a mess) and they told me they heard a quail singing followed by the sound of a group of birds flushing. They said they didn't see anything, though. I asked what the bird sounded like and they made the bob-bob-white sound. I hope they knew what they were talking about.
