Lower Plain North Waterfowl Lottery

Hello,

I will be hunting pheasants near Cresbard this year and I am thinking I might like to apply for the waterfowl lottery to combine some duck and bird hunting. I believe that Cresbard is in the Lower Plain North area. Do any of you know how difficult it is to draw a ticket to hunt in the lottery for this area (non-resident)?

Thank you.

Dan

I apply for the duck tag every year, get it about every other year. Like Uguide stated some possible new legislation to add a zone with more tags not sure the area you mentioned falls into that zone. Good luck in the lottery.

Statistically speaking, you should draw 2 out of every 3 years.

Speaking of the 5 additional counties now part of the "Pierre" non resident license pool...it surely has to be a coincidence that one of the bill's primary sponsors, Rep. Dick Berg, was beat out in the republican primary this summer. I guess that will happen when you blatantly ignore emails, phone calls, testimony, and the GFP and try to further commercialize waterfowling in the state.
