Lots of Farm Bill Biologists Out there

Makes one wonder why Iowa with 1.6 million crp acres would gain more attention than MN 1.56 million plus S D 1.1 million acres. What about Kansas and Montana, each with 2.5 million acres? Either the greatest need resides in Iowa, or the most money.

Greatest need would be my guess. Iowa was the spot to hunt pheasants in the 60's, not so great today. I hope PF can turn that around.

Only a small amount of MN and MT CRP holds Pheasants.
MN is in the North beyond the pheasant range and MT is short Grass Prairie.
I think that most all of Iowas CRP is within the pheasant range.

I believe Iowa has the most PF members in the nation. That may be a reason they're able to gain PF biologists. They'll be good for Iowa pheasants/wildlife. Can only help in a time we're losing so much:(.
