Went out and put in some trees this morning. Saw a lot of pheasants, mostly roosters. I'm assuming the hens are tucked away quietly on their nests. My mom said that they've heard/seen a number of pheasants, as well. Things are really green right now. High water levels, but the birds have had to deal with that a few years in a row now, even with the drought. Hatching conditions should be good here in my corner of NESD, barring any major storm systems.
