Looking for Self-Guided Pay to Play

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum, but I've been lurking for awhile. I'm looking for some helpful advice on people/places to contact for a pay to play arrangement in December around the Presho, Kennebec, Reliance areas.

I realize this is short notice, but any help you can provide would be appreciated.

<Background>
I've been going to SD for the last four years as a single hunter with one dog. Two trips each year (late Oct, early December). Four years ago I went on a whim mainly to train my young GSP (now 5yrs old) and I've been coming back ever since. I mainly hunt public land with a few days on private land thrown in as opportunities and friendships arise. We (the dog and I) typically get our limit, but we hunt slow and have just as much fun enjoying the scenery. Essentially, I don't feel any pressure to limit out each day.

This year is a bit different and I'd like some opinions and suggestions. My father and father-in-law have decided to join me for the trek to SD. While I'm willing to put on a ton of boot miles for just a few birds, I wouldn't mind showing them some of the incredible flushes you often see on private land.

<Summary>
We're three extremely ethical and conscientious hunters (+two dogs) that are willing to pay a bit to hunt private land. However, I'd prefer not to hook up with a huge group or have someone guide me around all day. Therefore, self-guided would be best. If anyone has any suggestions of places around the area that fit the bill, I'd be grateful. Looking from December 6th ~ 11th. Presho-Kennebec-Reliance area, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Pm Lazer-UPH. He might know of a few places. He went to school there and does quite a bit of website design for companies like that.

Yeah pm me, I know all the answers. Right, but I know of a few friends or places to check out both public and private. Just watch out for the old farmer on the tractor down near Frankfort, SD he can be a grouch. And if your not a Jackrabbit fan, watch out.

Well.... you spend you whole day surfing the internet pretending to work. I figured you would know something. No wonder you have no friends:D O wait! im you only freind what kind of looser does that make me?:eek:

Allens Hillside in Chamberlain. They not only are great walleye guides they are excellent pheasant guides as well. I think they have self guided hunts as well. Look them up on facebook or check their website out. The pics are proof of what I am speaking of. Oh they are very nice people as well.:cheers:
