Hello all, I am new to this forum and very new to hunting. Went out pheasant hunting at a release with a friend from work, fell in love, got a new 12 gauge and my hunters ed. card. And looking to continue learning and maybe start training my 6 month old catahoula named Blue.
Looking for anyone who wouldn't mind a little training and company on the eastern plains of Colorado. Hit me up, I'm always looking for something to do and to get away. Any tips or tricks that will help me are always appreciated.
Have a good day!!

They are. The catch is going to be controling that natural instinct and working with him to "stalk" rather than hunt. They are very good hunters and have a good nose. I'm not saying it's going to be easy or can even be done, but i'm going to give it a shot.

my buddy has one & said he thought he could teach it to hunt & maybe hold/point??? very smart dogs...
