Looking for a Good Brittany Breeder?

Hi Everyone,

I am living in Verona (near Madison) WI and I am looking for an American Brittany breeder to get a pup with good bird instincts (mainly for Pheasants). I would be willing to drive a couple of hours for a great dog. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Deseeker Brits out of Nebraska (near Omaha) has an outstanding bloodline that just had a litter yesterday. The sire was Iowa Gun Dog of year last year and won the ABC Intl Championship. Males are $400 and females are $500 although he only had 1 female it will probably be gone.

I'm not sure if you're still looking but try Howard Cole out of Middleton. I got my dog from him and so have several others I know. Great dogs but they are bigger than the breed standard. My female is 52 lbs and she's not fat.
 
Please don't take offense but that is a awfully big Britt, I had a Britt years ago about 35-40 pounds very athletic and fast. I have occasionally seen those monster Britts they scare me. My male Setter weighs about that and I though he was big, but he's tall. Chuckles don't settle do research talk to guys who have good Britts don't limit yourself to WI I drove to Maine to get my Springer. Here's a link if it doesn't get deleted, if it does P.M. me.
