Good luck BC! Kansascowboy I'll be down in that area Saturday as well. Can't wait to turn a pointer out on some quail.
 
Loading up the crew (5 hunters/6 dogs) tomorrow afternoon, and heading to the Colby area. Skipping the Colorado opener this year, hoping for a better chance at seeing birds. I've never hunted in Kansas before (at least on purpose, but that's another story), so it will be a new experience for me.

Mentioned to the boss that I will be in SW Kansas for a few months and don't expect me in the office, oh yeah, I'm retired... Guess I had a brain lapse.

Well my flight back home tonight was cancelled due to wind in Chicago. Wind? Stuck in Harrisburg PA till tomorrow.

Supposed to drive 7 hours to go pick up a new pup in the morning tomorrow.
So it going to be a long day.

Indy and I will go out somewhere after some quail in the area on Sunday.

BTW - I hate Chicago.

Good luck everyone. Be safe. I guess I'll round out the state and go NE around Seneca. Leaving in the morning. Just a 2 hr drive. Won't be heading NC till thanksgiving maybe.
 
Been through Harrisburg pa airport many times. Nice little airport. Spent the night in the luggage claim area in ohare one time. That was interesting.
