Lock and Load for NW

Heading out today to the Happy Hunting Grounds in NW. Lots of scouting to do and setting up for the local PF chapter banquet Friday evening. Will meet up with my longtime hunting buddy plus old friends from out-of-state. Have had reports of fair numbers of pheasants here and there, quail, and sightings of immature cocks, so there was a late hatch.

We are headed west tomorrow afternoon. Bow hunting friday for deer / turkey and scouting. A few beers friday night with old friends then let the Britts and the Lab have some fun. :thumbsup:

We will be staying in russel and hunting a little ways north of there. I hope you guys do well out west. We used to hunt near Gorum alot as well as Leoti but its been pretty dry the last couple years.
