Heading for near the Colorado corner for Saturday's opener in Nebraska. Low expectations due to dismal forecast. But bird hunting is my hobby so I'm going for it. Lock and load!

Good luck out there! I was hoping to drive out but picking up a new Golden puppy this Saturday. Let us know if its worth burning the gas.

I usually wait until after the first week of opening season and then go. Had some success and sometimes a walk with a shotgun. haha.
During the slow times I scout and look for small pockets. Good luck and post your experience. BE SAFE

I'll be in that same area Tuesday and Wednesday next week. I'm not sure where I will stay yet. It's just a chance to get Brady and 8 mo old Tucker out to see how controllable he is--and to check motel manors. I need to decide if I am taking him to SoDak the next week
