Little gems

[quail hound]

I've been eyeing this spot for a few years but never got the chance to check it out until today. An abandoned house sitting on maybe 6 acres or so out west of my house. Stopped for lunch at work and gave a few quail whistles. In no time I had 3 roosters fighting for the attention of this nrw comer. Farmer stops to talk and I ask about hunting. He says sure and gives me his #. I took a short walk and flushed about 15 birds (almost all roosters) so I back track knowing there's already hens on nests out there.:thumbsup: Oh and did I mention the farmer has over a mile of river frontage with the most prime habitat around? Yes this is my little gem. Sorry, no gps cords today fellas.
