Well Goose you should know. From what I’ve heard that is the case. Drought and hail affected the numbers. Pretty skimpy from what I heard in the northeast, better farther south.

It was really hot and dry in August and September, I'm not sure about hail but I've heard there was some hail in places. I haven't been out enough to make a educated prediction, but I did hunt a place today that should have had more birds, although it probably got pounded on Saturday. In 2 weeks or so I should be able to make an educated prediction.

I drove about 150 miles through decent bird country this morning. Didn’t see a dead bird on the road and more telling not a hunter in any fields. Not like a Sunday in years past.
