After healing from his opening week injury, Jax and the bounty from end of season hunt. A couple of roosters, 3 bobs, my new Cynergy and an old Charles Daly.
 
Nice looking dog. Mine was last day failure. Went out yesterday to a spot I had not hunted as of yet. End of season the left over planted birds always end up in the cattails. Usually good for one or two after snow and cold come. Unfortunately, it looked like someone beat me to it. There were boot tracks wherever I went, but no pheasant tracks. Oh well. Nice walk for both me and the dog.
 
Nice pic, I wish I could have been there to watch. Jax is a nice looking dog and you can tell he is pretty proud of himself as he should be. Thanks for sharing.
 
What a great hunt and beautiful hunting partner!

Nice end to a season--this hunt compensates for a lot of missed days, and is the one you'll remember.
