KFC Kawaguchiya Firearms Co Over and under 16 gauge

Pictures

I'll post some pictures when it shows up. I would imagine parts are going to be impossible to find but if its the same quality as my 20 guage hopefully there won't be any issues. Looking at differnt pictures it appears to be a smaller frame gun.

16 Guage

Thanks for the info Phil. I'm guessing its a proto-type gun that never got into production or a citori that was rebadged. This will definetly be my most unique gun in the safe if it passes inspection and I decide to keep it.

First off. There was only one 16ga Superposed ever made that I know of.

Does this guns forearm stay on the barrels when the gun is broke down?

If not, it is no copy of a Superposed.

More likely some sort of early proto type Citori as a possibility. Very odd that it's even that, being in 16ga.

Keep us posted on the gun if you get it.

I think you'll like it. Just my gut, but I've seen some extremely nice shotguns from Japan that were just off the radar a bit, so they slip through the cracks. Whenever I see the extra effort of long tangs and round knobs coming from Japan it's worth a close look. I like what I can see from the pictures. Let us know how it comes out.
