Hi. i live in the north eastern corner of south dakota. im hoping this is ok to do this on here cuz i dont know where else to turn. we have taken in a beautiful golden lab whose goin on 7 months of age. (weve had him for maybe 2 weeks now). He has a few basic commands down. i think with more training he wld be a good hunting buddy. hes sooooo loveable. he loves to be by uour side and loves to have his belly rubbed alot. unfortunately i dont know anyone in this area that wld take him in permanetly. we cannot due to husband working and both of us i n school and kids in school/daycare. When we took in the dog, they said he was housetrained but we keep him outside. we have a lil bit of land and he has yet to try n run off. he wld be
free long as i know he wld have a good and safe home to someone that would have time to do more with him than we can at this time. so if u know of anyone, please please let me know asap. thank you for taking ur time reading this.
 
If your post here does not find a taker, a search for "golden retriever rescue" will provide several organizations that offer rescue/find-a-home services for goldens. Also, you might want to post in the dog sub-forum on this site. Good luck.

I shld add i do have pics of him. so please please spread the word if u know of anyone. again, he wld be free being we took him in so he wldnt end up at the pound. ill help do whatever i can on my part to find him a good home.

BritChaser, it' s a "golden Lab" not a Golden Retriever".

Where in NE South Dakota is the dog located?
