It has been a year...Here Birdie, here birdie, ROOSTER!!!

I talked it over with the 'The BOSS' & am cashin in one of my rare overniter pkgs this yr to burn up on the opening wknd ruckus. Not expecting too much, mostly just wanna chill a little and get away with the dog & a few hunting buds (few birds in the cooler will be a bonus) - so not too bothered if the circus gets a little crazy/out-of-hand & have to look for out-of-the-way pockets & corners, I'll wait till it's over with be4 I start takin things real serious! :cheers:
 
I am pretty excited for the opener. Hunting opening weekend for the first time in over 10 years. I expect it to be a zoo but I got my hotel room booked and will hunt the weekend.

Hey guys, good luck out there this weekend. I've been mostly MIA from the Forum since early in the year but will be posting again. I'll be out near Yuma with my normal opening day gang and hopefully my new hunting buddy-9 mo old yellow pointing lab Parker. We'll be at the vet's Friday to get his stiches out and hopefully an OK to go. During his first Big Adventure trip to the Mitchell, SD area a couple weeks ago he started to learn that he can't crash through barbed wire like he does through our furniture. I'll figure out how to post up some pictures. I'm looking forward to a great season.
