Indian Reservation Hunting

$250 for non residents on the crow creek side.
I'm seeing they're (Crows) are putting more posted public hunting signs up in the last few years. Do they have a wildlife department like LBST does? Where do you purchase the license? LB was 350 to hunt when I first started hunting it. It went to 500 a few years before I became a SD resident. Pretty easy to justify the 500 as a non resident within 3 hours, but hard to justify anymore with a resident SD license..

You can use the website or go into the office. Anyone not living on or working for the tribe ground is a non resident. The lady in the office was a PITA try the website before dealing with her.

As in all things involving Indian reservations, it's a gray area, but most Indian reservations will sell you a hunting license.

Each tribe will have their own game/fish departments. Each has different rules and regulations. Some require you to hire a "guide", who is a tribal member. Others will give you a map that shows the tribally owned land and set you free.

I believe the reservation you're talking about is Lower Brule - https://www.lowerbrulewildlife.com/license-dates-and-fees/
