In Northeast South Dakota for Thanksgiving Holiday and was wondering where to go??

We are traveling from Michigan to hunt in Webster, SD and was wondering if we should stay around the area or head to others? We don't mind driving to other areas in the state. Thanks!

You may want to try a little further west. Around Huron might be a good choice

Aberdeen would be my call if you are in Webster.

I think you already received some pretty good advice on your previous post in the South Dakota forum. Bottom line is that the Webster area is not prime pheasant hunting territory. It's not that there aren't any birds there but the numbers are down and much less than if you get further west and southwest.

Doland area seems to always have a lot of birds on the roads when I drive from Watertown to the in laws farm south of Aberdeen. Otherwise I would head west of Aberdeen.
